Our friends over in FC asked us to pass this notice around:

Fields Corner Neighborhood Advisory Council
Important Neighborhood Wide Meeting
April 28, 2014
6:30pm
St. Marks School Hall
1725 Dorchester Avenue
Behind the St. Marks Church
Agenda
• All seven Civic Groups that share boundaries in Fields Corner have been invited to come and speak about their organizations.
o Clam Point Neighborhood Association
o Fields Corner Civic Association
o Five Streets Neighborhood Association
o Freeport Adams Neighborhood Association
o Meeting House Hill Neighborhood Association
o Melville Park Association
o St. Marks Area Civic Association

At the beginning of this year the leaders of the Fields Corner Neighborhood Associations met to plan this important community wide meeting. Fields Corner has been described as “A disgrace which needs to be improved.” Building on their first meeting last September, it is hoped that we can bring our voices together to make the changes our community needs and to get the attention of those who can help to make these changes.
We were having trouble getting a commitment from a Fields Corner host location for this meeting, we believe the fear is that over 200 people showed up at the last meeting and people are afraid that the crowd might be too big for their space. St. Marks Church has graciously invited us to use their space at their school hall for this important meeting. If you need directions or a ride to the meeting please call Barry Mullen 617-288-0818
