Jun 1, 2008: Dorchester Day Parade and Party

DotOUT is hoping to have a record-breaking GLBT presence in the upcoming Dorchester Day Parade to highlight and celebrate the growing gay community in Dorchester.

Dorchester Day Parade
Sunday, June 1, 2008
begins 1:00 p.m. in Lower Mills, runs the length of Dorchester Ave., and ends at Columbia Road.

DotOUT will have a beach-themed entry in the parade, featuring a 22-foot flatbed truck with palm trees, beach balls, beach chairs, etc., as well as great music! We'll give a free DotOUT t-shirt to everyone who marches/rides

Please consider marching/riding with the members of DotOUT in what promises to be a memorable day with lots of great people!

If you don't want to march, consider volunteering for setup or breakdown of the float!

We'll continue the post-parade party tradition graciously hosted by Richard O'Mara and Robert Ferrini at Cedar Grove Gardens, 911 Adams Street. The party kicks off at 5pm and is a great opportunity to relax with old friends and meet new ones. Kids are welcome.
